A Tour of Bond Street’s Sleek NYC Office
Bond Street is a technology startup that aims to transform small business lending through technology, data and design. Recently, the company moved into a new office in New York City, which was designed by interior designer Maryana Grinshpun.
“After outgrowing our previous office in Chelsea, we found ourselves looking for a new space that was: (1) easy to get to; (2) had lots of natural light; and (3) would allow us to support a quickly-expanding team. After a few months of searching, we stumbled upon a beautiful, airy space with exposed brick and lots of light on Greenwich Street in West SoHo. It had everything we wanted; we were sold. When we began the design process with up-and-coming interior design firm Homepolish, we immediately expressed our goal in wanting to leverage the design of the Bond Street office to support the underlying mission of our company as a whole: to support and foster the growth of our small business customers. As a result, each of our conference rooms were designed based on some of our earliest customers: Bec Brittain, Gin Lane, AvroKO Designs, United By Blue, and The Smile. All of these businesses have a really strong eye for design, standing on their own in terms of their unique aesthetic. From beach and surf influences to dark woods and cozy couches, we love how each room is completely different from the next, featuring the varying colors, artwork, and furniture that encompass the trains and styles of these companies. Most importantly, though, these rooms serve as a constant reminder of the Bond Street mission.”
