Roofstock is an Oakland-based startup that operates online marketplace created exclusively for investing in leased Single-Family Rental homes. Roofstock’s employees used to work remotely, however because of the rapid growth, Roofstock recently decided to open its first office so the employees can finally work together.
“Over the next couple months, an industrial workspace, appropriate for a startup, came about. Old carpeting was torn out and replaced by polished concrete. A new circulation path was defined throughout the space, highlighted by brass-and-ceramic pendant fixtures. And custom height-adjustable desks ensured that employees would be comfortable”, says Homepolish
