Popular cloud collaboration and content sharing platform company Box was looking for its new offices in London, so they hired designers from Area Sq to do the job. During the design process, the speed of delivery was very crucial and Box also wanted meet the design standard set by its San Francisco offices, where a striking reception showcases its technologies to visitors.
Bright meeting pods and an impressive industrial breakout area encourage collaboration in a colourful open-plan office interior. This is full of visually innovative ideas such as timber rafts and exposed service structures. Flexible workstations are broken up with accent furniture, write-on walls and audio-visual installations that enable staff to demonstrate products. Just as novel, the flexible office interior includes a canteen area for Box employees to enjoy catered lunches with banquet-style seating or to quickly hold larger team meetings as they wish.
