Inside AnyJunk’s New London Office
AnyJunk is a London-based on-demand office clearance service that helps customers remove all types of office materials, such as IT equipment, office furniture, filing boxes, old marketing collateral, pot plants, electric fans, and reception desks. AnyJunk’s previous industrial-style office in Wimbledon was a bit dated so they recently moved into a new office space in Putney, which was designed by interior design firm Oktra.
“In terms of the design, Any Junk wanted to achieve an industrial look and feel. We chose neutral colours and used materials such as steel, brick and concrete to give the space an industrial aesthetic. Through clever design we were able to incorporate a large breakout area, conference room and an open plan space for their tech and sales team. Branding was very important as Any Junk were going through the process of rebranding and their new office was designed to showcase their new identity. There were a handful of challenges throughout this project such as working to a strict noise schedule as the site was situated below a block of residential units. We also worked to a tight timeframe of 9 weeks for a full CAT A and CAT B fit out. Overall, Oktra transformed a ground and lower ground shell and core unit into a vibrant workplace for a leading technology company. The project was delivered to both budget and deadline and the team at Any Junk are delighted with their new workspace”, says Oktra
