Inside Keltbray’s New UK Headquarters
Keltbray, an innovative engineering company specializing in engineering, construction, demolition, decommissioning, remediation and rail & environmental services, recently moved into a new headquarteres located in Esher, England, and designed by interior design & fit-out firm Blue Jelly.
“Staff growth coupled with acquisitions meant that their workplace was not succeeding in a number of important areas, such as brand portrayal, groupings and overall capacity. Blue Jelly were retained to carry out a series of Workplace Consultancy activities which included workshops and space appraisals. These findings then generated ‘The design brief’, establishing a number of key success factors to be achieved. The brief allowed us to develop concept spacial plan layouts, 3D visuals and detailed budgets. These succeeded in illustrating how the 4 Storey, 30,000sqft building could deliver a much more dynamic and varied workplace, to support their future plans. We then commenced an intensive 20 week ‘multi-phased’ refurbishment project, whilst allowing over 150 staff to remain in occupation at all stages of the build. The final outcome provides a working environment that intelligently reflects Keltbray’s, needs, culture, brand, workflow and much more besides”, says Blue Jelly
