A Tour of CMPNY’s Minimalist Coworking Space
CMPNY, a new coworking space startup that offers private desks, offices, meeting rooms & event spaces for modern entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, and freelancers, recently opened its second coworking location in Canada.
“Occupied by entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, and freelancers with big personalities and even bigger dreams, it’s only fitting that this mindset is reflected in the space itself. Branded with bold pops of yellow and industrial design, the open concept office is built to promote community building and professional development. The goal of the space is to ignite creativity and promote ideas, and with an abundance of collaborative areas (such as the lounge fitted with beanbag chairs, the hot desks, or kitchen) in addition to multiple private offices, it would be difficult to find yourself feeling alone at CMPNY. Office activities include ping pong tournaments, cereal bars, and a speaker series to help foster community within the members, and ensure they all feel that they are part of an ecosystem that allows them to get to know each other on an informal level. While shared desks are a big part of coworking, and a deliberate choice to include at CMPNY, it’s more of a conceptual tactic versus a tactile one. This literal shared space promotes connectivity between the members, and allows workers across all fields to feel they are part of something bigger, and part of a team.”
