A Look Inside Crush Empire’s New San Diego Office

Crush Empire, a San Diego-based technology startup that provides professionals and students with the tools and resources they need to obtain everything from entry-level certifications to graduate degrees, recently moved into a new office, located in Sorento Valley, San Diego.

“The Design aesthetic was created with a live, work, play concept in mind for this fast-paced growing Tech company. My vision was to design a vibrant, collaborative environment that lends itself to creativity, efficiency and new ideas for team Crush.  Keeping the concept open, and fostering a bit of modern meets zen, I designed linear workstations against a 15ft  high boxwood wall, anchored by an inspirational graphics wall and separated by giant bamboo planters. The open-air kitchen invites you to eat at the bar top under a giant chandelier, and the chic lobby lounge makes a dramatic statement with plaid wallpaper featuring an oversized Marquee CRUSH light box. In keeping it fun, breaks and meetings often finish off with a game of ping-pong in the conference room, a basketball free throw contest, or some relaxing in the Library Lounge”, Laura McQueen Design
