Inside WildBrain’s New London Office
WildBrain, a computer animation studio that creates short cartoons for corporate advertisements and television shows recently relocated into a new office in London, which was designed by office design firm Peldon Rose.
“Our brief from the client was well formulated and embraced a Day Two strategy that considered expansion. A furniture-centric approach was adopted to allow for a space that could be easily re-configured and our furniture team were on hand to deliver new office furniture. The result being a layout that can be adapted to the business specific demands of the organisation. The front of house area has been designed as an open space with hot-desking and flexible work spaces to allow for smart working. Adding in a spacious tea point provides extra staff breakout space and makes use of the natural light to give staff a bright space to break out in, away from the office floor. A quintessential element of the design was the celebration of the existing architecture. Natural light was maintained and maximised throughout the layout, with all open plan staff being located along the window elevation. Meeting rooms were located as a standalone area on the mezzanine floor, creating an element of privacy and natural separation from the open plan”, says Peldon Rose
