Inside Yakusha Design’s Minimalist Kiev Office
Yakusha Design, an Ukraine based architecture & interior design studio that creates eco minimalistic interiors as well as its own eco-collection of furniture called FAINA, recently moved into a new office in Kiev, Ukraine.
“Office is a place where you spend 1/3 of your life. It is important to make it not only functional, but also pleasing to your eyes. In our case – design studio Yakusha Design, that is known for minimalist style in the interior works and artisan eco-collection of furniture FAINA (www.faina.design) the solution was obvious – lots of day light, white and grey colours and natural materials. Here we not just work on architectural projects and design ideas, but also enjoy the time we spend together. Victoriya Yakushs, head of the studio Yakusha Design, worked on this space in 2016-2017. Project was inspired by Ukrainian culture and philosophy of eco-style. The basis of the interior is the principle of minimalism. The ceiling here is made of concrete, and the walls are made of felt and metal. Almost all of the furniture for the office is made on our own production and present FAINA collection. Here you can find our modular sofa FAKTURA, designed pillows TURBOTA and set of vases PAPIR. The walls are also decorated with huge symbols of traditional Ukrainian embroidery,” says Yakusha Design
