A Tour of Hedge Fund Offices in London

A London-based hedge fund recently hired workplace design firm Oktra to design their new offices, located in London’s Mayfair district.

“Working closely with their move team our designers held several brain storming workshops to conceptualise the final design concepts. Following their brand guidelines, and taking inspiration from the local area, British tailoring, and craftsmanship already present in the building, we created a sophisticated yet simplistic design. The brief was to successfully achieve their vision while maintaining the existing BREEAM excellent level of standard. The final design transmissions over three floors. We converted the second floor into an open plan trading floor with meeting rooms. On the third floor we designed a main reception area, with a five meter long patterned sprayed metal desk using overlaid cutting sheets to form a sculptural piece. On the sixth floor we built a complete catering kitchen”, says Oktra
