A Tour of Fender’s Sleek New Los Angeles Office
Fender, an iconic musical instruments company that manufactures guitars, basses, amplifiers, and other related music equipment, recently opened a sleek new office in Los Angeles, California in order to engage future generations of musicians. The whole space was built and designed by architecture & interior design firm Rapt Studio.
“For Fender’s return to their California origins, they partnered with Rapt Studio to create a new office along Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard to celebrate their status as a revered industry name and engage with future generations of musicians. Rapt Studio studied Fender’s rigorous product development process to create a workspace that supports the teams and their unique methodologies. Fender LA is made of two separate spaces: two floors of an office building and an 8,600 square foot structure called the ‘Bungalow.’ The office building’s refinement comes from its sleek contours, niche colors, and finely tuned hardware, all inspired by Fender guitars. The office also has a public-facing area in which guests are welcome to walk in and explore a large installation feature wall of Fender guitars. The Bungalow is more laid-back with 30-ft ceilings with worktables for prototyping and an informal sound studio for impromptu jam sessions.”
