A Look Inside AMI’s New Bristol Office
AMI, a provider of information, market intelligence and conferences for the global plastics industry, recently hired workplace design firm Interaction to design their new offices in Bristol, England.
“With an existing office space in a domesticated style akin to a rabbit warren, the AMI team were looking to completely modernise their workspace as they expanded into a new building on Brunswick Square. In addition to practical features such as heating and cooling works, the team wanted to integrate a more flexible and motivating working culture, with features such as hot-desking and a vibrant colour scheme. They were keen for the design to reflect the niche nature of the business, which provides information, market intelligence and conferences for the global plastics industry. AMI now have a modernised space that provides the flexibility they need to grow as a business. With integrated hot desks and a choice of meeting areas, the team can now work together more, which is great news for productivity. Overall, the space is bright, vibrant and reflective of the brand, which will help make the company more memorable for potential clients. Equally, thanks to the clever use of space, which allows for further capacity, the office will be able to change in tandem with the team – a factor that will help to future-proof the company’s expansion. Key features include a stand-out reception area with a moss ‘living wall’, a strong blue branding and a vibrant colour scheme throughout, Resimercial style seating; ideal for ad-hoc meetings, and a tea point and breakout area with contrasting monochrome colour scheme, making it easier to differentiate between work and downtime,” says Interaction
