A Peek Inside Downing LLP’s Modern London Office

Downing LLP, an investment company that designs and manages investment products helping investors look after their wealth, recently hired office design firm Blue Jelly to fit-out their new office in London, England.

“Having worked with Downing for six years on both relocation and refurbishment projects, Blue Jelly thoroughly enjoyed designing and fitting out this 18,000 sqft ‘Grade A’ floor, overlooking the River Thames. To encourage wellbeing, we installed 100% sit / stand desks in this activity based workplace with quiet rooms, stand up meeting tables and a business lounge for informal meetings. All meeting rooms have wall mounted screens for easy information sharing and high quality WIFI to enable employees to successfully work in different environments. In addition, we built an enhanced breakout room for meetings with visitors, complete with a fantastic coffee machine. Hidden from view was the extensive acoustic work to provide confidential cellular spaces and a new fresh air system to support expansion and high capacity meeting rooms. Downing’s new positive workplace now provides a ‘wow’ factor for staff, creates a modern and agile workplace to bring teams together and flexibility to expand,” says Blue Jelly
