Global fashion brand Boohoo recently hired interior design firm Siren Design and construction firm Schiavello Construction to design their new office in Sydney, Australia.
“Schiavello’s brief was to create a two-level space that had flexible uses; an energetic and fun office, a clothing showroom, and to create an event space for entertaining influencers and guests.
Although a local icon, the building situated in Taylor’s Square on Oxford Street had been derelict for several years prior. A primary challenge of the fit-out was to maintain the integrity and character of heavily listed heritage building, while making sure the overall brief was met.
The pastel rainbow colour palette celebrates pride throughout, fitting right into ‘the golden mile’ of Sydney’s Oxford Street. The space features exposed brick, mixed in with colourful neon lighting, bright pink vinyl, brass pendants and feature walls to create an instagrammable moment and deliver the wow-factor.”
