A Tour of The Commons’ Melbourne Coworking Space

Sustainable co-working space provider The Commons recently hired interior design firm Foolscap Studio to design their new coworking space in Melbourne, Australia.

“Foolscap Studio was enlisted to bring The Commons brand to the CBD in collaboration Riverlee and Schiavello Construction. The result is a buzzing ecosystem of workspaces designed to encourage innovation and collaboration amongst its members.

Designed to meet the changing demands of the modern individual, the interactive, light-filled contemporary workspace is a design feat in itself. With natural accents of timber and black metal throughout, pops of pastels and jewel tones filter the space – taking members on a texturally hued journey with every turn.

Loaded with a library, sensory room, amphitheatre, and indoor golf simulator, the flexible co-working hub can accommodate up to 350 members. Along with specialist amenities, the space offers meeting rooms, private offices, shared working areas, and private soundproof phone booths,” says Schiavello Construction.
