A Look Inside Helio’s New Stockholm Coworking Space

Helio is a Swedish coworking network that provides office space to creatives, freelancers and small to medium companies. In October 2019, Helio opened a new coworking space in Stockholm’s Hornstull neighborhood which was designed by architect Erik Danckwardt.
“The concept was based on the history of the house as Stockholm’s Shoe factory – thick brick walls that create a natural backdrop, along with furniture that combines both steel and leather details to link back to the shoemakers that worked in the building.
In addition to this we added a playful color palette to create some contrast and a large amount of site-built furniture that works extra well for shared office spaces,” says Erik Danckwardt.
