A Peek Inside Farringdon Point’s London Office
A team of designers from interior design firm Peldon Rose recently completed a new interior of Farringdon Point office building in London, England.
“Our collaboration with landlord Columbia Threadneedle Investment and commercial agent Colliers has resulted in two floors of spectacular ‘Ready-To-Work’ office space in the heart of stylish Clerkenwell – a highly competitive rental market. Farringdon Point occupies a prominent corner position at the junction between Farringdon Road and Greville Street, less than 100 metres from Farringdon Station. The surrounding area is one of London’s major design hubs, home to renowned creative companies like Zaha Hadid Architects, Grey Advertising, and Karmarama, with more and more tech companies and start-ups moving into the neighbourhood.
With that in mind, Peldon Rose has set the space up perfectly to match the needs of the kind of creative agencies that might want to move into it, with a focus on agile working, informal meeting spaces and engaging congregation points. Every element of the design has been carefully considered with adaptability in mind – the entire space can be reconfigured to suit a tenant’s specific needs, while the neutral colour scheme can be tailored easily to their branding.
Tea points on each floor and a range of huddle booths and meeting spaces provide the perfect landscape for cultivating a collaborative office community. A furniture selection of high-quality pieces, including Vitra seating, gives the space a high-end feel, while exposed ceilings and concrete structural columns emphasise the industrial qualities of the original building. Crittall glass systems respond to these original features and the existing window frames,” says Peldon Rose.
