A Peek Inside Rivington Holdings’ New Houston Office
Independent investment banking firm Rivington Holdings recently hired architecture firm Perkins and Will to redesign their office in Houston, Texas.
“Seeking to accommodate a talented team within a secure, 5,540-square-foot office in downtown Houston, Rivington Holdings enlisted the expertise of Perkins and Will’s local studio to conceptualize a well-appointed modern workspace that elevates the independent investment banking firm’s mission and creates room for growth.
Divided into public, gathering, and focus zones, the office suite was strategically designed to provide a clear visual connection from the interior offices to the secure entry area. To create a streamlined, contemporary setting that still felt welcoming and warm, the design team juxtaposed a palette of high-contrast surfaces and rich, natural materials that play off of a variety of textures—both visual and tangible.
A three-dimensional Spinneybeck leather ARO plank and metal panel feature wall offers a luxe aesthetic, and is further accented through cove lighting from above. This custom element begins at the entry and stretches into the employee gathering space”, says Perkins and Will.
