A Look Inside Sportradar’s New Singapore Office
Sports technology company Sportradar hired interior design firm Forward 50 to design their new office in Singapore.
“The wellness-focused design of the office includes features such as height- adjustable desks, natural lighting, and breakout spaces, all aimed at improving the physical and mental well-being of employees. The office also has various spaces designed for different working styles, including quiet areas, open spaces, and huddle/meeting rooms.
To evoke the feel of a popular playing surface for many sports, the open office of the company was designed with green carpets. These carpets serve as a fitting anchor for the office space. The pantry walls were treated with bricks wallpaper, to provide a raw organic touch to the space. Lockers resembling traditional sports lockers are placed on the sides, used both as personal storage for employees and office peripherals. The Games Area in the middle of the office, provides a nice respite to break away from the grind of work.
Phone booths are provided across the workplace to give much-needed quiet spaces in an open office setting. All partitioning are heavily insulated with double-glazed glass and doors. Abstract Sports Art provides the theme to the Environmental Graphics, including the privacy films to the meeting rooms. Lining one side of the boundary wall is a composition of rugby players in a scrum. The non-representative artwork in the office also adds interest and provide talking points to staff and visitors. A play of colours and textures lends vibrance to the space. The lines and shapes on the rear wall were lifted off the forms used by SPORTRADAR in their advanced data analytics.”
