A Tour of Global Holdings’ New NYC Office Space
Global Holdings Management Group partnered with architecture and interior design firm Spectorgroup to design Forum at 875 Third Ave, a new office and amenity space in New York City, New York.
“Forum is designed for smaller tenants who desire to maximize their space efficiency and flexible lease terms while still having access to a dynamic suite of amenities. By locating four different companies on the same floor, Forum invites cross-collaboration and connectivity within the shared space, encouraging the exchange of ideas, increasing serendipitous interactions, and allowing for new experiences that employees wouldn’t otherwise have access to in a homogenous environment.
Upon entry, a large reception desk welcomes guests and supports concierge services during events. A refined industrial aesthetic with playful pops of color can be found throughout – yellow and blue armchairs are anchored by black slingbacks, bookshelves are stacked with artistic touches, and plants and greenery are layered within the space – creating an inviting atmosphere that fosters a sense of community among tenants. The lighting mimics the irregular shape of the floor plate, creating a clever, artistic feature that reflects the building’s angles and navigates visitors throughout the floor.
Forum features a variety of sized meeting spaces including conference rooms, huddle rooms, and open lounge areas to support productivity and provide employees with more autonomy in their work styles. A large pantry with a coffee bar, plus a ping-pong table provide employees with places to unwind and socialize.
The fully-furnished prebuilt suites maximize efficiency in design and workflow within a compact footprint, providing both private offices and open workstations that make it easy for tenants to move and plug in.”
